We have now had four brightly successful DONA-approved Doula Trainings in Chico, facilitated by Connie Sultana.  She is an incredible woman, and the doulas who attend always have the most wonderful things to say about Connie and her enthusiasm, compassion, and insight (including me -- she was my doula trainer back in 2004!).  To put a bug in her ear about another doula training in Chico, be sure to contact her -- if you want to attend a training sooner and can travel, be sure to look up her workshop schedule.

Chico Doula Circle

Doulas support families, but who supports doulas?  Chico Doula Circle is an organization created to support and promote doulas and doula work in the Chico area.  We gather monthly to share tips, exchange resources and information, gain continuing education and practical skills, and process our own experiences as doulas.  Contact me to find out when our next gathering will be.  To become listed here, regular attendance at our meetings is required, as well as a membership fee.
